Colour : Malachite is usually a lovely vibrant green – alternating between light and dark layers. The color is derived from copper within the mineral.

Origin : Malachite is largely found in the Urals in Russia, although quantites have also been found in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Australia, Mexico, England, and in Arizona in the US.
